2007:

New album "Waltz with me" coming soon.
Annbjørg is now in the mix of a new album "Waltz with me".
It will be out Jan 2008 on Grappa Records and features the wonderful artists Bruce Molsky, Mikael Marin, Christine Hanson and Kirsten Bråten Berg.

String Sisters CD "Live" is nominated for the Folk Grammy in Norway 2007.

The commission concert "Waltz with me" that Annbjørg was asked to do for Telemark Folk Festival 2007 is now recorded! The project includes Bruce Molsky, Mikael Marin, Christine Hanson and Kirsten Bråten Berg. The cd will be out January 2008 on Grappa Records.

Annbjørg is asked to write new music for a concert at Telemark International Folk Festival the 20th of July 2007. The idea is to put together a international folk string quartet. She has invited Bruce Molsky - USA, Mikael Marin - Sweden and Christine Hanson - Canada to join her.

2006:

Annbjørg appears on "Penelope song" on Loreena Mckennitts new album "An ancient muse". The song was recorded in Real World studios of Peter Gabriel.

Annbjørg is guest on the main folk music national radio program "Folkemusikktimen" on Sunday 12th and Monday 13th of November on NRK P2. She is talking about international musical projects.

The release of String Sisters cd and dvd will happen at Celtic Connections in Glasgow, Scotland 1st of February. It will be a show case and a concert.

Annbjørg has got the "Hilmar Aleksandersen memory prize" for 2006. She will get it on a concert in Steinkjær the 2nd of November. This is a big honour in a memory of a great fiddler and artist.

Annbjørg has been participating this autumn in the musical score for the movie "The Mermaid Chair". The music is composed by Rolf Løvland. The movie is directed by Steven Schachter and is starring Kim Basinger, Bruce Greenwood and Alex Carter. The movie will be premiered later this year.

The movie "Valo", with a musical score by Annbjørg and Bjørn Ole, opened in Norway the 27th of April. The movie received great reviews in the biggest newspapers in Norway. Annbjørg and Bjørn Ole attended the premiere and also held a mini-concert before the showing.

The 16th of July, the musical "EMMA" which Annbjørg and Bjørn Ole were asked to write music for, had its premiere at "Fjæreheia" in Grimstad in Norway. It became a big success.
